We Recycle Electronics
We live in a throw away society. That’s a fact. But not everything has to be thrown away at the end of its life. Especially when it comes to electronics & technology, we all need to do our part to keep those items out of the land fill. This is because electronics contain several harmful chemicals that can leach into the ground that effects many things, including our drinking water.
Here at Lynlinks, want to do our part by making it as easy as possible for you to get rid of your old technology without having to dump it in the landfill.
Here’s how we do it. We break down your electronics into individual recyclable components and then work with a local recycling company to process those components. Examples of computer components we recycle include lithium batteries, LCD screens, motherboards & PCI cards, wiring, power supplies, hard drives and just about ever other part in a computer. (We actually recycle any electronics device!) Once we have all the parts broken down & sorted, we ship them to a recycling company which in turn adds them to additional sorted components from other places. They in turn ship everything to an even larger recycling company for processing into raw materials. It’s actually a pretty cool process!
